Earlier this month, Tiarnie, our in-training Digital Marketer, headed up to the Apple store in Rundle Mall, Adelaide, to attend an iPhone editing course. The course included an in-depth demonstration of how to use iPhone editing in photos. It may not seem very useful, but the iPhone photo editor is overlooked and isn't always used to its potential.

Earlier this month, I went to Adelaide for an Apple editing course. I arrived at the Apple store in Rundle Mall. I was quickly checked in, and the class began. Jayred was our lecturer for this course, and I was impressed! Jayred thoroughly described the photo app and how it works. I found it interesting how the photos app automatically groups pictures in albums, making it easy to find and search for particular media you are looking for.
We then moved on to the editing side of the app. He describes how each dial works and what affects the photo.
• I learnt how to adjust the editing dials, e.g. saturation.
• I learnt when you take a photo, you can adjust what the photo looks like before taking it, e.g. (exposure, rich contrast, warm and cool)
• I learnt you can take photos in 4.3, 16.9 and square measurements
• I learnt if I take crooked photos, I can straighten them using the cropping tool
• I learnt that skewing photos vertically from the bottom brings either the top of the photo forward
• I learnt skewing horizontal does the same, but from the left or right

What's your favourite food? I can't go past a beef snitty with hollandaise and asparagus.
What you love most about your job Meeting a diverse range of people. Listening to their stories and working with them to achieve a great outcome. Sitting in people's loungerooms and having hard conversations with them, then sitting in that same lounge chair letting them know we have gained an excellent result for them. I love their happy reactions at that life-changing moment for them.
Secret talent or fun fact about yourself I used to be part of the SeaWorld water ski team on the Gold Coast.
If you could have a superpower, what could it be? Buy more time…
What's your strangest fear? Mice!
What's your most outstanding/ proudest achievement in life? There are many within my work and community volunteering, however, together with my wife, it would be our kids and raising our family in Meningie. Watching them become involved in our community is an outstanding achievement.
What is your role/ what do you get up to at your job? General Manager and Sales Agent. Aside from sales, I work on the day to day business operations, planning, systems implementation and supporting our excellent staff across a vast and diverse portfolio – we're more than just real estate agents.

V8 SUPER CARS
The OTR SuperSprint is a massive event held at the well-known Tailem Bend Motorsport Park. Thousands of people come from around the state to watch this event, which has been running since 2018. Race one includes 24 laps around the track, equaling 120kms in total, and is the same for races two and three.
The overall winner this year (2022) was Shane Van Gisbergen from Australia. Shane is a three-time champ winning in 2018,2021, and, of course, this year, 2022. Shane drives a Holden ZB Commodore and races for the Triple Eight Race Engineering team.
