Adam and his family Bec, Elliott, Imogen and their dog Dexter, embarked on an unforgettable holiday adventure across the Eyre and York Peninsulas from January 14th to 27th during the school holidays.

Traveling in their caravan, they made stops at Port Lincoln, Cowell, Port Broughton, Point Turton, and Ardrossan, immersing themselves in the beauty of coastal life.

The trip was filled with plenty of fishing adventures, since Elliott is mad about fishing. They reeled in an impressive haul of marine life, including blue swimmer crabs, squid, and even a Port Jackson shark.

They indulged in fresh local oysters straight from the oyster farm, adding a delicious touch to their meals.

Elliott even secured the winning prize of three crab pots at the Ardrossan Blue Swimmer Crab competition for catching the biggest crab in his age group.

Along the journey, they were amazed to see the enormous coastlines of Whalers Way in Port Lincoln and the Pristine beaches of Point Turton. 

The 2023 Swan Group Christmas Show, hosted in early February, was an unforgettable event.

The festivities commenced with Leaders from Coorong Realty, Swan Brothers, Swan Earthmovers, Swan Heavy Mechanical, and the Swan Group delivering their annual recaps. They spoke about their teams achievements, highlighted significant moments from the past year, and celebrated various successes.

After the presentations, everyone headed out onto the Lake Albert Golf Course to compete in the ‘Coorong Cup’. Golf Captain Merv led the charge, while drinks were managed by Dave and Chris of Swan Brothers, and catering was handled by Bob and Trevor.

This year, Swan Brothers team of Craig Swan, Jack Richards, Peter Brumfield, and Chelsea Swan claimed the Coorong Cup!

The fun didn’t stop there! In addition to the Coorong Cup, teams tested their knowledge of the Swan Group and 2023 events by competing in the Swan Group Trivia Competition.

Congratulations to our very own trivia maestros, Luke Medlow, Adam Hurle, Elliott Hurle and Bec Hurle, for winning the 2023 Trivia Masters tittle.

Jack Richards scored the Longest Drive Competition award, while Luke, Adam, Elliott and Bec received the NAGA (Not a Golders Ass or Worst golfers of the group) award.

The day wrapped up with a delicious meal at Freshies Café and Bar, where we enjoyed oysters, dinner, and drinks.
