Recently we hosted a Leading Teams workshop for our entire team, with a strong emphasis on team building and communication. 

Held at Swan Agri Business’s Shearing shed, on the Narrung Peninsula, the workshop included interactive discussions where team members could voice their opinions on three key areas: what we should start doing, what existing strategies we should continue, and what we should stop doing.

The session also included collaborative challenges and activities to strengthen our teamwork and enhance our ability to work together effectively.

We wrapped up the day with a BBQ lunch, offering a relaxed setting for everyone to unwind and bond.

The mix of structured discussions and casual interactions made the workshop an enriching experience for all.

South Australia's rental reforms have officially come into force as of 1st July 2024, marking a significant shift in the rental market.

These reforms introduce several key changes, including

• Requiring a prescribed ground to terminate or not renew a tenancy and doubling the notice period to end a tenancy.
• New disclosure and tenant information requirements and meeting minimum housing standards.
• Blocking additional fees and limiting routine inspections.
• Setting energy efficiency and water-saving standards, and protections for water and electricity billing.
  

Last month, our team attended a session held by the Real Estate Institute of South Australia. By participating in this session, we ensured that we are fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and understanding to comply with the new regulations.
