Enjoy a glass of wine in the sun and watch boats drift by in the marina, while the kids play in the fully enclosed yard, safe from the water.

With four bedrooms and spacious living areas, the family can spread out and enjoy a relaxing getaway. And, when you leave, there is no laundry to do – we  will take care of that for you.

Located right on the water’s edge, this property has a private jetty, so you can moor your boat, or help the kids into kayaks with ease.  The Wellington Marina boat ramp is a convenient two minutes’ drive from the house.

Four bedrooms have queen size beds, with the master bedroom serviced by an ensuite.  A modern family bathroom services the other three bedrooms.

All linen, including towels, is supplied, and best of all, you don’t have to wash it when you leave!  The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, and the laundry has a washing machine, iron and ironing board (but we recommend you avoid domestic chores like laundry – you’re on holiday!)

Outside, the rear yard is fully fenced from the road and water, to keep the kids safe, and the private jetty will give the kids hours of fun.  If you’re visiting in winter, then rug up and make use of the firepit, overlooking the water.  Don’t forget the wine and marshmallows.

The neighbourhood

Wellington Marina is ideally located for you to explore the Coorong and Murraylands regions.  The river, lakes and Coorong are truly magical, so take the opportunity to explore it.

Start with taking a ferry ride across the river to Wellington, and check out the historic Wellington Courthouse, or have lunch at the pub, overlooking the river.  Got a boat? Then don’t drive your car to the pub, take the boat!  Tie it up right out the front, and stay a few hours.

The Langhorne Creek wine region is just 30 minutes away, or explore the Adelaide Hills and historic Strathalbyn (visit antique dealers, cafes and stunning parks).

If you love to explore in your car, the stunning Coorong is less than an hour from Monteith.  Check out the beaches, lagoons, river and lakes in the truly magical Storm Boy country.

For all your amenities, head to Tailem Bend or Murray Bridge, where you will also find a range of great dining options, and activities at Sturt Reserve.
